Program of Events released for Lingalonga Festival

Plan your day at the Lingalonga Festival a little better and use our just released program of events to ensure you don't miss out on all the activities planned on Saturday 31 July.

This family friendly festival has something for everyone. Plenty of free activities for the kids including the 'Fun Bus', a sand castle building competition or have your face painted. For the "bigger kids", join the mayhem on the waterslide, challenge yourself on the vertical rock climbing or visit our science corner.

Dress up as your favourite bug - or even better, dress up your car as a bug and join the drive-in from Noonamah at 11am (arrive Batchelor Noon).

Market stalls are sure to tempt most tastes. Ever wanted to see how a traditional blacksmith works, or keen to learn traditional weaving techniques at one of our two workshops on offer?

Find a spot under a shady tree, relax, listen and listen to the Taminmin College and Batchelor Area School Choirs or watch the 'Shimmy All Over Belly Dancers'. Stay after dark and check out our headline act 'Barry Brown And The GetDown' along with a variety of other acts.

See you there!
